Israeli Official: Yemeni Drone Targeted Strategic Facilities
An Israeli official revealed that the Yemeni drone recently fired toward Israeli territory was aimed at a strategic target within Israel.
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and Yemen’s Al-Masirah network, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that based on assessments, the Yemeni drone that entered Israeli airspace last week after crossing the Sinai Desert likely targeted the Ashkelon power plant or another strategic facility.
The Israeli newspaper added that the army and Israel Aerospace Industries are investigating why their defence system failed to intercept a Yemeni missile.
