German Chancellor Makes Baseless Claim About Zionist Attack on Nasser Hospital
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al Arabiya, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz made a disparaging claim today, Tuesday, asserting that he does not currently believe the Israeli occupation’s attack on a hospital in Gaza yesterday-which killed at least 20 people-was intended to target journalists.
During a press conference in Berlin, without condemning the crimes committed by Israeli occupiers in Gaza Strip, Merz stated: “Both the Israeli army and cabinet have promised to launch a thorough examination into this incident. I prefer to await the results of these inquiries before making any final judgments.”
Reporting by Anadolu Agency quotes Merz describing Israel’s actions there as unacceptable.
The Israeli occupying army committed another atrocity against media personnel on Monday by killing Mohammed Salameh, an Al Jazeera cameraman, along with several other journalists in Gaza. With Salameh’s death, Al Jazeera has lost 10 staff members since the start of the Gaza conflict. 240 journalists have been killed as hostilities began.
The European-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory also confirmed that the attack targeting reporters and rescue teams at Nasser Hospital was conducted through low-altitude drone flights guided by precise intelligence from Israel.
