Axios Reports on Meeting Between Iran and European Troika
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency, Barak Ravid, a reporter for Axios, claimed on social media platform X regarding today’s meeting in Geneva between Iran and the European Troika that a well-informed source told him that the Iranian side “did not present any concrete or actionable details.”
In another message on X, the Axios correspondent asserted: A second source informed me that Iran provided very little information to representatives of the three European countries about extending snapback. With five days remaining before the legal deadline expires, political directors from these three European countries and the european Union will now inform their political authorities to make a decision on snapback.
Meanwhile, Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy for Legal and International Affairs at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, stated after the meeting: “Dr. [Majid] Takht-Ravanchi and I held another session with political directors of the three European countries in Geneva. Both sides outlined their views regarding UN Security Council Resolution 2231.Iran remains committed to diplomacy and a mutually beneficial diplomatic solution. It is time for these three European countries and the UN Security Council to make the right choice by allowing diplomacy space and time.”
