Ukrainian Foreign Minister Consults with US and European Counterparts
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anatolia Agency, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha held a phone call today, Tuesday, with U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio and senior European diplomats to discuss security guarantees for Kyiv.
The ukrainian Foreign Minister confirmed his country’s readiness to hold a trilateral peace summit at the head-of-state level involving the United States and Russia.
According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sybiha claimed: “I participated in an vital phone conversation focused on the path to peace and security guarantees for Ukraine. This was organized by U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio along with our European allies.”
The talks included Finland’s Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen; France’s Jean-Noël Barrot; Germany’s Johannes Wadeful; Italy’s Antonio Tajani; Poland’s Radosław Sikorski; UK’s David Lammy; and EU High Representative for foreign Affairs, Kaya Kalas.
