Trump: I Expect Conflict in Ukraine to End “Very Quickly
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, U.S. President Donald Trump stated during a White House cabinet meeting that the conflict in Ukraine has lasted too long and he expects it to end very quickly.
He added, “It has gone on for too long… but I hope we resolve the issues in Gaza and the conflict between Ukraine and Russia very soon.”
Trump further emphasized that maintaining good relations with Russia and China is “much better than not getting along” with them.
“I want an agreement to end the war in Ukraine, and I believe I will succeed,” he said.
He also noted, “We have economic sanctions related to the war in Ukraine, but we will not enter World War III.”
Earlier, Steve Wittkoff, Trump’s special envoy to West Asia, announced that detailed meetings would be held this week on gaza, Iran, and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
He expressed hope that cases concerning Iran, the war in Ukraine, and Gaza would be resolved before the end of this calendar year.
