Tensions Escalate Between Brazil and Tel Aviv; Katz Urged to Stop Lying
According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Masirah, Brazil’s Foreign Ministry condemned Israel’s Defense Minister yisrael Katz for once again making unacceptable insults and false claims against Brazil and its president.
The ministry added that rather of spreading these falsehoods, Katz should take obligation for the Nasser Hospital attack in Gaza.
Brazil’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that Israeli attacks on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of more than 62,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Tel Aviv is using intentional starvation of Gaza residents as a weapon of war against Palestinians.
The ministry also noted that the International Criminal Court is investigating Israel for violations related to genocide prohibition agreements.

The Maariv newspaper reported that relations between Brazil and Israel have entered a new phase of crisis. The Brazilian refusal to accept Tel Aviv’s proposed ambassador signals growing deterioration in bilateral ties.
This progress comes days after Brazil’s Foreign Ministry reacted last Sunday (August 17) to recent expansionist plans by the Israeli occupiers in Palestinian territories, describing them as threats against indigenous residents.
Tel Aviv’s Channel 14 also announced that Israel will downgrade its diplomatic relations with Brazil.
