Israeli Airline Reports $10 Million Loss in War with Iran
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen,the Israeli website Calcalist reported that Israir Airlines suffered a financial loss of approximately $10.4 million in the second quarter of 2025 due to halted flights linked to the conflict with Iran.
This contrasts sharply with the same period last year, when the airline posted profits exceeding $7 million.
The company,owned by Rami Levi,explained that israel’s attacks on Iran and iran’s retaliatory missile strikes against Israeli military,strategic targets,and infrastructure under Operation Promise True 3 reduced its profits by 7.5 million shekels (about $2.24 million).Additionally, increased financial expenses amounting to $7.4 million contributed significantly to converting profits into losses.
