Israeli Airline Reports $10 Million Loss in War with Iran

Israel’s ⁢national airline ‍recorded over $10 million in losses following the suspension of flights during Tel Aviv’s 12-day war against Iran.

According to the English section of ⁢ webangah News Agency, citing⁣ Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, the Israeli website Calcalist reported that Israir Airlines suffered a financial loss of approximately $10.4 million in the second quarter of 2025 due ‌to halted flights‍ linked to the conflict with Iran.

This contrasts sharply with the ⁢same period last year, when the airline ‌posted profits exceeding $7 million.

The company, owned by Rami Levi, explained that israel’s attacks on Iran and iran’s‍ retaliatory missile strikes against Israeli military, strategic ‌targets, and infrastructure ‌under Operation Promise True ⁤3 reduced its profits ⁣by 7.5 million shekels (about ‌$2.24 million).Additionally, ‌increased financial expenses amounting to $7.4 million contributed significantly to converting profits into ‍losses.
