Saudi Foreign Minister Consults Spanish Counterpart on Gaza Crisis
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing the WAM news agency via Mehr News Agency, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan spoke by phone with Spain’s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares.
The call focused on consultations about Saudi-Spanish bilateral relations.
Both sides also reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip and its associated security and humanitarian consequences.
This follows a similar discussion yesterday between qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani and José Manuel albares regarding recent developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, their talks also covered bilateral relations between Doha and Madrid, exploring ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors and also shared concerns.
The Qatari foreign minister expressed appreciation for Spain’s positions supporting regional and global peace. He emphasized the need to intensify regional and international efforts to halt the ruthless war on Gaza, ensure lasting and unhindered humanitarian aid access, and work toward freeing Palestinian prisoners.
Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al thani reiterated Qatar’s support for all peaceful initiatives aimed at resolving the Palestinian issue through peaceful means within a two-state framework.
