Hamas: The Aggression Against Yemen Is a War Crime and a Clear Violation of International Law
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas released a statement condemning the recent Israeli attacks on Yemen. describing the aggression as a war crime, they called it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of an Arab country and an explicit breach of international laws and norms.
In its statement, Hamas expressed full solidarity wiht the Yemeni people, their armed forces, and their allies in the Ansar Allah movement. They noted that despite repeated terrorist attacks against Yemen, Ansar Allah remains committed to supporting Gaza and Palestine.
Hamas urged the international community, including the United Nations as well as Arab and Islamic governments, to fulfill their responsibilities by taking action to halt israel’s criminal aggressions against both the Palestinian people and other Arab nations.
Earlier today, Israel launched airstrikes on Sana’a, Yemen’s capital. Multiple explosions were reported across the area following these strikes.
A correspondent from Al Mayadeen confirmed that over ten strikes targeted Sana’a. Reports indicate that Israel’s naval forces also participated in these operations. The army radio station of Israel claimed some attacks targeted buildings purportedly housing senior Ansar Allah officials.
A few days prior, Israeli warplanes had bombed civilian areas in Sana’a as well.
Israeli sources assert that today’s strikes successfully killed Yemen’s Minister of Defense, Minister of Interior, and Chief of General Staff.
