Russia Declares Solidarity with Venezuela Against U.S. Threat

The ‌Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Moscow rejects the use of force ‌against sovereign countries and affirmed its solidarity with the people‌ and⁣ government of​ the bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

According ‌to the English section of webangah News Agency,⁢ citing mehr News Agency and Russia Today, a spokesperson for ⁣the Russian Foreign Ministry addressed recent developments in Venezuela,​ where the United⁣ States has deployed warships along its coast.

At a press conference in Moscow, ⁢Maria Zakharova stated, “Russia firmly rejects threats‌ to use force against independent ‌countries‌ as a tool of foreign policy. We express‌ our⁣ solidarity​ with the people and government of ⁣the Bolivarian Republic⁢ of Venezuela, which has an‌ undeniable right to freely determine its political, economic, and social path without external pressure.”

She added that Russia is⁢ maintaining ‌close, direct, ‍and amiable contact ‍with​ Venezuelan counterparts ⁢regarding current events ‌within their ​strategic partnership​ framework.

The Russian diplomatic spokesperson also emphasized that “the practice of coercive intervention and color revolution tactics must be consigned to ‍oblivion⁣ forever.”

Notably,​ on August 8th, ‌US ⁢Attorney general Pam Bondi announced a $50 million reward for data leading to the arrest of venezuela’s president.

On August 19th, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that former President Donald Trump is prepared to use “all elements of American power” in combating ⁤drug trafficking-and did not rule out ‌military action in Venezuela.

This comes ⁢as three US ‌warships have ​been dispatched ⁢near ‍venezuelan shores carrying an expected 4,000 Marines. In Caracas, these moves have been described as provocative actions aimed at destabilizing the region.
