Anti-Zionist Slogans by Syrian Crowd in Presence of Jolani + Video
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, syrian citizens in the central city of Hama raised anti-Zionist slogans as Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, leader of the terrorist regime ruling Syria, arrived there.
The protests against Zionism coincided with Jolani’s presence while his regime pursues a degrading agreement with the Israeli regime. This deal was initiated last week during a meeting between Assad Al-Shibani, Foreign Minister for Jolani’s regime, and Ron Dermer, Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs.
Since Bashar al-Assad’s government fell,Jolani’s regime has signaled important shifts in Syria’s political discourse and expressed willingness to pursue an open policy aimed at normalizing relations with Israel.
In the first half of 2025,regional and European intermediaries actively worked to establish communication channels between Damascus and Tel Aviv. Reports indicate that this new Syrian regime is not only prepared to sign a reconciliation agreement with Israel but is also ready to recognize Israeli sovereignty over occupied Golan Heights-conditional on economic guarantees involving reduced or lifted Western sanctions.
Jolani’s pursuit of normalization occurs despite continuous public demonstrations and marches across Syria rejecting any rapprochement with Israel.
Since taking power, Jolani’s regime has faced repeated Israeli airstrikes targeting Syria and destroying much of its infrastructure.
