Tel Aviv: Port of Eilat Comes to a Halt
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, reported that Israeli regime media admitted Tel Aviv’s plan to find new jobs for Eilat port workers has failed.
According to the report, these workers were suppose to be employed at Ashdod port, but this plan was not implemented.The head of the Eilat Port Workers Committee stated that these workers remain at home without pay.The only way to resume operations at Eilat port is a halt to the war in Gaza.
The port workers emphasized that they have not received any wages for over a year. they added that being offered jobs in hotels within the occupied territories instead of working at the port is insulting.
It is noteworthy that Eilat port has effectively been paralyzed due to triumphant military operations by Yemen’s armed forces in the Red Sea targeting ships linked to the Israeli regime.
