Iraqi Analyst: US Withdrawal from Parts of Iraq Is a Deception Operation

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News‍ Agency and ​Al-Maloumeh, Iraqi political ​analyst Riyad ​Al-Wuhaili stated that announced movements regarding US troop withdrawals from certain areas ‍are deceptive.

He added, “No agreement with the ⁣United States can be trusted. The country continues to violate Iraq’s⁤ sovereignty under various pretexts, and reports about​ US troop withdrawals cannot be relied upon.”

Al-Wuhaili emphasized that a complete end to the american presence in Iraq is the only option to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.

A Canadian ​publication had previously reported that American ‍forces are repositioning rather than withdrawing in‌ Iraq.
