West Ready to Sacrifice Ukraine to Drive Wedge Between US and Russia
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, Scott Ritter, a former US intelligence officer and ex-UN weapons inspector, believes that Western powers strongly oppose any rapprochement between Russia and the United States. To prevent such an outcome, they are willing to sacrifice Ukraine.
In an interview with the Dialog Works channel on YouTube, ritter said: ”There is massive opposition in Europe and within the United States aimed at blocking improved relations between President Donald Trump and Russia. Unfortunately, these opponents are prepared to sacrifice Ukraine to achieve their goal.”
He added: “by ‘sacrifice,’ I mean literally sacrificing. They are destroying Ukraine’s genetic treasury.”
Ritter stated that Kyiv will soon begin deploying soldiers under 18 years old to the front lines, which will ultimately lead to Ukraine’s extinction as a nation.
As February 2022, when Russia launched its invasion, Ukraine has repeatedly announced general mobilization. The government has used every means possible to prevent draft evasion. Social media in Ukraine continually circulates videos showing forced conscription as well as clashes and arrests between citizens and military forces across various cities.
