Von der Leyen: Strengthening Kyiv’s Military Capacity Is Ukraine’s Key Guarantee
The English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,reported that Ursula von der Leyen,President of the European Commission,saeid today,Sunday,regarding the conflict in Ukraine: “No one desires peace more then Ukraine itself,and this country needs security guarantees.”
Von der Leyen added that the most critically important guarantee for Ukraine is enhancing its military capabilities to prevent any hostile actions against it.
She previously stated: “We will maintain close coordination regarding Ukraine.We will continue close cooperation with our partners and seek a fair and lasting peace in Ukraine.”
This comes despite earlier reports from some American media outlets claiming that Europe lacks interest in resolving the conflict in Ukraine and is rather fueling the war in Kyiv.
