Israeli Military Defeated in Ground Operation in Gaza, Zionist Media Reports
The English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, reported that Channel 12 of Israeli television revealed a confidential document showing the Israeli army’s failure in the operation called “Gideon’s Chariots” in Gaza.
The secret document states that the objectives of “Gideon’s Chariots” – including suppressing Hamas and recovering prisoners – were not achieved.
It confirms that the Israeli army committed numerous errors during the operation,particularly failing to establish a clear timeline.
According to this classified report, one reason for the operation’s failure was its poor fit with Hamas’s guerrilla warfare style.
the document also notes that another cause of failure was that the operation was planned haphazardly.
Israeli military experts had previously acknowledged that considering the military resources used and its political, international repercussions along with casualties among soldiers, “Gideon’s Chariots” ranks as one of Israel’s most failed operations in its history.
Following the launch of “gideon’s Chariots” in Gaza Strip, resistance fighters engaged directly with occupying forces and carried out numerous ambushes. These actions inflicted significant casualties on Israeli soldiers-a fact even acknowledged by Israeli sources themselves.
