Colombia Bans All Coal Exports to the Zionist Regime

The Colombian government announced the enforcement of a complete ban on coal exports to the Israeli regime, issued by the ‌country’s president.

According to the English section of webangah⁢ News Agency,citing Anadolou Agency via Mehr News Agency,colombia’s Ministry of Commerce declared‍ in a statement that coal exports to Israel have been prohibited due⁤ to ongoing military actions against the Palestinian people.

The statement said that this ban is enforced under a new‍ decree ​which‌ specifies that exporting coal “supports‌ the war ‌machine.”

Colombia also emphasized that this⁣ decision ‌aligns with​ international treaties to which it is a party.

Diana⁣ Marcela Morales Rojas, Colombia’s Minister of Commerce, said: ​”Colombia cannot remain indifferent​ to the suffering of the Palestinian people. This is ⁤a concrete action to halt escalation and affirms our country’s decisive role in global peace.”

A similar regulation banning ‌coal exports⁣ to Israel was introduced in June 2024; however, some exemptions were allowed due ‌to long-term contracts.

With‌ the‌ new decree,these exemptions have been removed,and Colombia ‍has fully ceased all coal exports to the Israeli regime.
