British Maritime Trade Operations‍ reports explosion near‌ a ship in the Red Sea.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency ‌and Al-Masirah, the British ​Maritime Trade Operations stated that they received details about an explosion and the⁣ fall of an unidentified object near a vessel in the red Sea.

The British Maritime Trade Operations added that the ship’s captain, located southwest of Yanbu, Saudi⁤ Arabia, reported a projectile landing⁤ close‍ to his vessel‍ followed by a powerful explosion.

The organization claims ⁤all crew members are safe,‍ the ship is⁢ continuing its ‍voyage, and authorities are ‍investigating ‌the incident.

Yanbu port is approximately 800 kilometers​ from Yemen’s coast. Most vessels departing from this port are​ oil tankers.
