10,000-Strong Pro-Palestine Protest Erupts in Frankfurt, Germany
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Middle east Monitor, thousands gathered in Frankfurt, Germany, to show solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. despite initial attempts by authorities to ban the rally, it went ahead successfully.
the protest titled “Unity for Gaza – Stop the Genocide Now!” started in eastern Frankfurt before moving toward the city centre. It attracted around 10,000 participants-twice as many as organizers had expected. Protesters condemned the German government’s support for Israeli occupiers and chanted slogans such as “Germany funds,israel bombs.”
The demonstrators called for an arms embargo and an end to Germany’s military cooperation with Israeli occupiers.They also demanded immediate humanitarian access to Gaza.
Some carried placards calling for sanctions against Israel while others held signs reading: “Don’t turn your back. Raise your voice.”
