Mahmoud Abbas’s Deputy Travels to Riyadh
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Wafa News Agency via Mehr News agency, Hussein al-Sheikh, Deputy President of the Palestinian Authority, has traveled to Riyadh for consultations adn coordination with Saudi leaders.
The discussions between Mahmoud Abbas’s deputy and Saudi officials focused on key political issues of shared interest. These included developments related to the Palestinian cause, efforts to halt Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, upcoming developments concerning Palestine’s recognition as a state in September, and ways to strengthen a unified Arab position in addressing current regional and international challenges.
Wafa news Agency stated that this visit is part of ongoing dialog between Palestine and Saudi Arabia. It aims at continuous coordination to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them establishing an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
