Funeral Procession Begins for Victims of Zionist Regime’s Terrorist Attack on Yemen
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Masirah via Mehr News Agency, the funeral procession for the victims of the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack on Sanaa has just started.
Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been heading toward Al-Sabeen square in the capital since early hours to participate in the official funeral ceremony for government officials, including the prime minister adn several ministers.
On Saturday,Yemen’s Presidency issued a statement confirming the martyrdom of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi and several accompanying ministers in last Thursday’s Zionist regime attack on Sanaa.
The Saturday statement from Yemen’s presidency read: “Today, amid an open battle with our Israeli enemy, we mourn collectively-including national leaders who represent all diverse segments of Yemeni society. In Thursday’s attack (August 28, 2023) by the zionist regime on Sanaa, Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi, Prime minister of Change and Growth Government, along with a number of yemeni ministers were martyred. Several others were injured; some remain in critical condition.”
