Yemen’s Prime Minister on the Brink of a Major War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Almasirah, Muhammad Maftah, Yemen’s Prime Minister for the Management of Affairs, responded to the recent Israeli attack that killed Yemen’s prime minister:
“O people and nation from Sanaa, I address you. Yemen has lost its men today in defending righteousness,” he said.
Offering condolences on the martyrdom of Yemen’s prime minister and several ministers to Ansar Allah’s leader in Yemen,Maftah said: “We have entered a major and effective war against America. This war is not only military but also economic. The enemy has targeted every objective.”
The prime minister added: “The enemy targeted Yemen’s ports to strangle us. However, their goals failed because the ports remain operational without crisis. There is no concern about government activities; the martyrs’ blood inspires us to persist in fulfilling our duties. Government operations continue uninterrupted.”
Muhammad Maftah continued: “The situation is good; the enemy has been defeated. We praise our people’s presence across all fronts-it is indeed this participation that has defeated the enemy. What traitors and mercenaries promote is baseless.”
