Channel 12 in Israel unveiled an internal secret report confirming the defeat of this operation. The document admits that its primary objectives-to pressure Hamas and secure the release of captives-where not achieved.
The Hebrew-language outlet reports that the document acknowledges Israel’s military committed all possible errors during the operation, notably failing to establish a precise timeline for execution.
It also points out that one cause of failure was poor alignment wiht Hamas’s combat tactics.
