Slovenia Joins South Africa in Filing Complaint Against the Zionist Regime

While Slovenia’s president criticized Europe’s silence on the⁣ crimes committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza, the country’s foreign minister announced that Slovenia is considering joining South Africa’s ‌lawsuit against Tel​ Aviv.

according to the English section⁤ of webangah News Agency, ‌citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Slovenia’s​ Foreign⁤ Minister stated ​that every day‌ in⁣ Gaza, as an⁢ inevitable result of bombings and deliberate starvation, the equivalent⁤ of an entire school ​classroom loses their lives.

Tanja Fajon added that vital ⁣aid shipments⁢ to the Gaza ‌strip are intentionally being blocked, and families are being destroyed completely before ⁤the world’s ⁣eyes.

She emphasized that peace requires justice; therefore, Slovenia has​ sanctioned Israeli ministers and banned arms trade with Israel.

The foreign ‍minister stressed ​that Slovenia⁢ recognizes ⁤Palestine and‍ is working at the United⁤ Nations General ⁤Assembly ⁢to expand ‌this recognition.The country is⁢ currently reviewing joining South ‍Africa’s ⁤case against Israel at⁢ the international Court of ⁣Justice.

In similar remarks,⁣ Slovenia’s president said: “The world is judging those responsible for the Srebrenica massacre, yet we ⁢see‍ people defending and accepting Israel’s ⁢genocide​ in Gaza. ‍The world​ condemned the October 7 attack but shows no consensus regarding ⁢Gaza’s ‌residents.”

He added⁢ that despite​ official⁤ declarations ‌of ‌famine inside and around Gaza City, European Union politicians have taken no action. ​Europe appears to have forgotten that⁢ human rights‌ and dignity matter everywhere in the⁤ world.

The⁣ Slovenian president also voiced⁢ support‍ for ⁢awarding the Nobel Peace ‍Prize to Francesca Albanese, United Nations special rapporteur on Palestinian‍ territories.
