Genoa Port Workers in Italy Threaten the Israeli Regime
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Channel 12 of Israeli television reported that the Genoa Port Workers Association has threatened to boycott goods and shipments sent from this port to Israel if ties with the so-called “Steadfast” humanitarian fleet-which set sail Sunday toward Gaza-are severed or if Israel blocks its arrival.
The Steadfast global fleet departed on Sunday from Barcelona’s port in Spain heading toward the Gaza Strip. This flotilla, involving activists from 44 countries, aims to break the harsh blockade imposed by israel on Gaza.
Thousands gathered in Barcelona to farewell the ships and show support for the largest non-governmental maritime flotilla seeking to halt what they call Israel’s genocide in Gaza. The fleet is composed of allied groups including Freedom Flotilla, Global Gaza Movement, Steadfast Caravan, and a Malaysian resistance institution, bringing together thousands of activists.
Previously, Israeli naval forces seized ships Hanthala, Madeleine, and Al-Damir as they attempted to reach Gaza’s shores.
