Gaza Turns into a Child Graveyard as 660,000 Palestinian Children Face Starvation
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, reported that the UNICEF spokesperson has warned that Gaza is turning into a graveyard where children lose their lives every day.
The UNICEF spokesperson added, “Children in Gaza are becoming thinner and thinner from hunger, and residents no longer have the strength to move. The Israeli attacks on Gaza City are extensive and severe. The people of Gaza do not know where to go.”
He further stated, “Israeli authorities continue to keep crossing points in Gaza closed and escalate famine. The aid entering Gaza is insufficient; widespread starvation persists, and children are dying from hunger.”
The senior international official stressed, “We must take concrete actions to save the lives of children in Gaza.”
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) also reported that nearly 660,000 children in Gaza are hungry. Instead of returning to school, they remain hopeless and traumatized.
