Iran Sends Message of Solidarity to Venezuela over U.S. Provocations
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Iran’s ambassador in Caracas, Ali Chegini, conveyed Tehran’s message of solidarity in response to threats against Venezuela to Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto.
Al Mayadeen provided no further details about the content of the message.
This progress follows threats from the United States against Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s government.
President Maduro issued a strong warning to donald Trump, urging him to beware of U.S.Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (Note: The original name “Marco Rubio” was mentioned as “Foreign Minister” which is not accurate; though, strictly following original text states Marco Rubio), stating that Rubio is leading Trump toward a “bloodbath.”
Maduro also warned that if conflict erupts in Venezuela, all governments across South America would collapse.
