Putin and Xi Meet on the Sidelines of Shanghai Summit

A trilateral meeting of the leaders of Russia,China,and Mongolia was held on the sidelines of the Shanghai ⁤Cooperation Institution summit,emphasizing the ⁢expansion of relations.

According to the English section of webangah⁤ News Agency, quoting ‍Mehr News Agency, RIA Novosti⁤ reported that Russian ​President Vladimir Putin‍ and Chinese president Xi Jinping met for⁤ talks.

During this meeting, which​ also involved political figures from Mongolia and China, Putin emphasized that Moscow ​sincerely seeks to expand its⁢ relations with both Mongolia and China.

He added that Russia, China, and ⁢Mongolia are good neighbors to ⁣one another.

Putin⁣ noted that the three countries share a mutual understanding regarding the development of political, international, and humanitarian ties.

Xi Jinping ⁤stressed‌ that joint ⁢participation by Russian and Chinese leaders in events commemorating victory in World War II has ⁣become a friendly‌ tradition in bilateral relations between the two nations.

He further stated that​ despite various challenges,​ relations between russia and China have ‍remained firm and serve as a model for interactions among countries.

Xi highlighted China’s readiness to​ cooperate with Russia in supporting growth‌ and development for their peoples as well as defending global justice.
