According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen,the Israeli website Kipa reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering revising the gas deal signed with Egypt.
This move by Tel Aviv comes amid reports alleging Cairo’s violation of the peace agreement.
Previously,Egyptian sources have repeatedly stated that Israel’s actions near Egyptian territories and at the Rafah crossing constitute clear breaches of this agreement.
Yesterday, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with the President of the European Council and emphasized that Israel’s occupation policies in Palestinian lands pose a serious threat.
He added that humanitarian conditions in Gaza are catastrophic and have reached famine levels. The ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza, coupled with its blockade, have severely exacerbated this crisis.
Abdelatty stressed that regional and international efforts must intensify to immediately halt the war in Gaza.
He called on the European Union to take action by pressuring tel Aviv to lift its blockade on Gaza, cease attacks against it, and abandon unfeasible conditions imposed on aid delivery.
Furthermore, Abdelatty urged Europe to adopt concrete measures compelling Israel to comply with international laws.
