Strategic Equipment on Display at China’s Grand Parade: From Combat Robots to Ballistic Missiles
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, today’s Chinese parade prominently featured equipment integrating artificial intelligence with military robotics. These systems were introduced alongside explanations of their roles in future battlefield operations. The robotic and unmanned systems were showcased in Beijing with participation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, and dozens of other officials and heads of state.
Among the unmanned systems displayed was the WR11 armored anti-tank platform designed as an automated specialist unit to destroy tanks and armored vehicles during combat.
The WR1 engineered armored obstacle-clearing robot was also unveiled; this system is used for breaching paths, mine clearance, and removing battlefield obstacles.
The parade introduced the WR14-a specialized launch-and-recovery platform for drones-and robotic “dogs,” along with integrated systems that combine the capabilities of drones with ground equipment.
The WR15 armored anti-tank system represents an advanced iteration of automated anti-armor platforms presented at the event.
A small armored vehicle equipped with a 12.7mm machine gun was revealed; it is intended for reconnaissance missions as well as combat support through covering fire.
the presentation also included long-range artillery munitions such as the PCH-191 MLRS multiple rocket launcher system firing 370mm rockets (known internationally as LZ45).
Tactical and operational ballistic missiles compatible with the long-range PCH-191 MLRS (LZ45) were among other weaponry unveiled during the parade.
The modular global PCH-191 system-one of the world’s most modern and powerful MLRS platforms-was highlighted. It utilizes a modular design allowing rapid reloading with various types of ammunition:
This includes 370mm rockets targeting distant regional objectives alongside ballistic missiles typically measuring 750mm caliber designed to strike meaningful strategic point targets at ranges extending several hundred kilometers.
Today’s ceremony marked the 80th anniversary of China’s victory over Japan in world War II at Tiananmen Square in beijing. Invited by xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, over 26 foreign leaders attended this commemoration. The Chinese government also hosted numerous parliamentary speakers, deputy prime ministers, senior representatives from international organizations, former political figures, ambassadors, military attachés based in China-and also fifty friends or representatives of war survivors from fourteen countries including Russia, America, Britain, France, and Canada.
