Kim Jong Un: Assisting Russia Is North Korea’s Brotherly Duty
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met with Russian President Vladimir putin following the Victory Day parade in Beijing.During the meeting, Kim reaffirmed Pyongyang’s firm support for Moscow.
Kim Jong Un stated, “if North Korea can assist Russia in any way, it will certainly do so. This is a fraternal duty.”
Putin expressed his satisfaction at having the prospect for a separate meeting with Kim Jong Un and said that relations between Russia and North Korea are developing especially well.
The Russian president also highlighted the role of north Korean troops in liberating Russia’s Kursk region, noting that this cooperation fully aligns with the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty between Moscow and Pyongyang.
“Russia will never forget North Korea’s role in fighting modern neo-nazism,” he added. “North Korean soldiers fought courageously in the Kursk area.”
