Netanyahu Urges Israeli Ministers: Maintain Silence
Israeli Prime Minister has urged his cabinet ministers not to speak publicly about Tel aviv’s plan concerning the West Bank.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked his cabinet ministers to refrain from publicly discussing Tel Aviv’s plan to annex parts of the West Bank.
Maariv claimed that Netanyahu fears losing former President Donald Trump’s support for this plan. This comes despite full American backing for Israel’s actions under President Joe Biden.
The newspaper added that Netanyahu was scheduled to hold a meeting at his office regarding this issue, but it was postponed. The reasons and new date for the meeting have not been announced.
