Floods in India’s Punjab Claim at Least 30 Lives

Heavy, continuous rainfall ‌and flooding in northern India have caused⁣ at⁣ least 30 deaths.

According to⁤ the English section ⁢of⁣ webangah News⁢ Agency, citing Mehr News Agency ‌and ‍BBC ⁤World Service, heavy nonstop rains and subsequent floods in the northern Indian state of Punjab have claimed⁢ at least 30 lives.

More than 354,000 people have been ⁢affected by ‍the rainfall and flooding, the report said.
