China Unveils “Nuclear Triad Power” at Today’s Military Parade

China unveiled ⁣a portion of⁣ its ⁢nuclear capabilities across ⁤land, sea, and air in today’s major military parade.

According to the English section ​of​ webangah news​ Agency, citing ⁢Mehr News Agency and Al-Alam, China showcased its strategic nuclear power in land, sea, ⁣and air ⁤domains for⁣ the ​first time during ‌a military parade held at​ Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. The event commemorated the ⁤80th anniversary of ​the end of World War II.

The ‌military procession ‍marked⁢ China’s 80th anniversary victory over Japan and celebrated the end ‍of World War II with a display of ballistic missile units equipped with ‌nuclear warheads.

Citing China’s official ⁤news ​agency Xinhua, this was Beijing’s inaugural simultaneous exhibition ⁢of its nuclear‌ capabilities across three arenas: airborne Chengli-1 ⁢missiles; ⁢submarine-launched intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) Joolang-3; ​and also ⁤ground-based ICBMs Dongfeng-61 and⁤ Dongfeng-31.

In‌ addition ‍to ‌advanced intercontinental ballistic missiles, mobile missile ​systems were also​ exhibited during ‌the ceremony. These mobile platforms enhance rapid relocation ability and significantly increase China’s nuclear forces’ operational versatility.

Chinese ⁤officials stated that this ⁢military⁢ parade was held within the ‍framework honoring China’s victory in the People’s ⁣War against Japanese aggression and World​ War II resistance against fascism.
