Trump: I Will Speak with Putin Within the Next Few Days
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al jazeera, U.S. President donald Trump stated Wednesday during a White House meeting with the Polish president that he currently has no specific message for Vladimir Putin.
Trump added, “He knows well where I stand and will decide accordingly regarding the conflict in Ukraine. Either we will be pleased or dissatisfied, and if we are dissatisfied, events will unfold that you will notice.”
The Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported that Trump said he intends to speak with Putin “in the next few days.”
Regarding secondary sanctions against Russia, Trump noted, “I have not yet implemented phase two or three.”
On China’s recent military parade, Trump remarked, “I thought it would be very impactful; though, I understood their purpose-thay hoped I would watch-and I was watching.”
He also emphasized that the U.S. does not intend to halt troop deployments in Poland. If Warsaw wishes, America can station additional forces there. Furthermore, if negotiations over the Ukraine conflict stall, phases two and three of sanctions against Russia remain prepared.
