Italy Condemns Zionist Attack on UNIFIL
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency, reports that Antonio Tajani, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister adn Foreign Minister, condemned the Zionist occupying forces’ attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeepers in southern Lebanon.
The Italian Foreign Ministry released a statement saying Tajani condemned the Zionist army’s assault on the UN peacekeepers during his recent meeting.
The statement emphasized Tajani’s reference to the importance of Lebanon’s stability and UNIFIL’s activities, whose mandate was recently extended. He strongly condemned Israel’s serious attacks against the peacekeeping forces.
earlier, UNIFIL reported that Israeli drones fired missiles near their positions along the Blue Line area in southern Lebanon.
UNIFIL stressed that the Israeli army must guarantee the safety and security of its personnel.
