UAE and Jewish Institute Warn Trump of West Bank Annexation Risks
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm network, the U.S. news outlet Axios reported that the United Arab Emirates warned President Donald Trump that any move to annex the west Bank to Israel could harm the Abraham Accords.
Meanwhile, Axios also revealed that Israeli officials disclosed Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State, mentioned in private meetings that the Trump governance would not prevent Israel’s annexation of the West Bank.
american Jewish Organization Warns Against Smotrich’s Plans
Separately, Qatar’s Al Jazeera reported that the American Jewish organization J Street issued a statement condemning Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s plan to annex parts of the West Bank as a threat and a factor undermining peace prospects.
The organization warned that Smotrich’s actions are leading Israel toward “collapse and destruction.”
According to J Street, the primary goal of this annexation project is to deny Palestinians their right to self-determination.
