Katz Declares: Hamas Must Accept Our Terms or Gaza Will Be Completely Destroyed
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Katz, warned that Hamas will soon have to choose between accepting Israel’s terms or seeing Gaza suffer a fate similar to Rafah and Beit Hanoun.
Katz emphasized that israel’s conditions include the release of all Israeli prisoners and the disarmament of Hamas.
Earlier, Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s Finance Minister, stated similar conditions. He said the war would only end if Hamas surrenders and accepts Israel’s demands; otherwise, the group will face complete destruction.
Smotrich outlined that Israel’s requirements for ending the conflict in Gaza include returning Israeli captives, disarming Gaza Strip factions, establishing a safe zone, and ensuring long-term freedom of movement in the area.
He asserted that there are only two possible outcomes: either Hamas surrenders to Israel’s terms or it is indeed eradicated.
This comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that the regime’s small security cabinet indicated the war in Gaza could be halted immediately based on specified conditions.However, Netanyahu’s office did not detail what those conditions entail.
