Moscow Declares U.S. Threats Against Venezuela Unacceptable
The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the US threats to change Venezuela’s government as an unacceptable approach to international relations, emphasizing that this stance poses a threat to regional adn global security.
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, stated on the sidelines of the 2025 Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok that reports about a potential US-backed regime change in Venezuela represent pressure and an unacceptable method in advancing international relations.
Zakharova emphasized that Western actions against countries pursuing self-reliant national policies clearly exert pressure on Venezuela at all levels.
She added that the situation is being exaggerated unacceptably and creates threats to both regional and global security.
