Israeli Soldiers Detained by Jordanian Army
A Hebrew-language newspaper has reported the arrest of several Israeli soldiers by the Jordanian army in recent weeks.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported, based on informed sources, that the Jordanian army detained several Israeli soldiers who crossed into Jordan from shared borders in the Wadi Araba region over recent weeks.
The report states that the Jordanian army held and interrogated these Israeli soldiers at one of its military bases before eventually returning them to the occupied territories.
Haaretz added that these Israeli soldiers acted without informing their senior commanders.
