Sa’er Tells Macron: You Cannot Travel to Tel Aviv
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency via Russia today, Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon sa’ar, told his French counterpart today that Paris has taken actions against Israel. He asserted that France should reconsider its process of recognizing the State of Palestine.
Without addressing Israel’s actions in Gaza and the region, Sa’ar claimed that recognizing Palestine has destabilized the region and harmed Tel Aviv’s security interests.
Regarding the possibility of French President Emmanuel Macron visiting Tel Aviv, Sa’ar said there is no room for such a visit provided that France insists on policies contrary to Israeli interests.
Sa’ar had previously warned Macron not to interfere in matters unrelated to him.
