Palestinian Groups: Resistance Remains Palestinians’ Strategic Option
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) released a statement marking 700 days since the Zionist regime launched its genocidal war against Gaza. Describing it as one of the longest and most brutal wars in modern times, they emphasized that this ongoing conflict reflects an unprecedented level of violence.
The statement highlighted that Israeli occupiers are attempting to replicate scenes of slaughter witnessed in Rafah, Khan Yunis, and northern Gaza within Gaza City itself-now crowded with displaced people-and in the occupied west Bank. this is part of a plan to expand settlements and enforce Judaization aimed at deepening Palestinian suffering and erasing their national identity.
The PFLP reaffirmed that resistance against what it called “the world’s deadliest machine of killing and terrorism” remains a strategic option for Palestinians.
It added that shifting global dynamics and exposure of Zionist falsehoods present an prospect to broaden international support for Palestine. However, achieving this will require increased grassroots efforts to pressure for an end to occupation crimes in Gaza, the West Bank, and across the region.
Concluding their statement, the PFLP underscored that these 700 days of genocidal war have neither weakened nor will weaken Palestinian resolve.Rather, they strengthen determination for survival and resistance. Despite all wounds, destruction, and tragedies endured by Gaza, it remains a symbol of popular steadfastness and national dignity.
The Palestinian al-Ahrar Front also issued a statement condemning what it described as continued Nazi-like genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by Israel over these past 700 days. It accused Israeli forces of shedding innocent blood-including children, women, elderly civilians-in tents and shelters while seeking to destroy every aspect of normal life under unparalleled brutality violating all international norms.
The statement charged Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government with pursuing expansionist ambitions under “Greater Israel,” paid for by Palestinian bloodlands and resources. It said this campaign continues with full backing from Washington-the true partner in both genocide and forced displacement-as well as enabled by silence from Arab nations amid ongoing international indifference.
Al-Ahrar held both the international community at large and UN Security Council responsible for allowing these atrocities to persist unchecked. They warned that failing to restrain Israeli occupiers or their fascist leaders’ Nazi actions poses a threat not only regionally but also globally undermines peace and security worldwide.
Al-Ahrar expressed gratitude towards all popular movements globally working tirelessly to break Gaza’s siege ,pressure entities involved toward ending mass killings there, and expose Zionist occupiers before world public opinion
