Google Signs $45 Million Contract with Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office

Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office has signed a $45 million advertising contract with Google to enhance ⁤the company’s support in improving the regime’s image online.

The⁢ English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr‌ News Agency and the Palestinian Shehab News agency, reported that Google‌ has entered into a $45 ⁢million agreement with Israeli Prime⁢ Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office to ‍boost advertising‌ in favor of the⁢ regime through its platforms.

According to the report,this contract began in late June and will run for six months. It explicitly focuses on ⁤promoting ⁤advertisements supportive of Israel, positioning Google as⁤ a “main supporter of Netanyahu’s messages.”

The deal‍ followed​ israel’s declaration in March of a full blockade on Gaza, banning food, medicine, and fuel from entering.

The campaign includes videos published on YouTube-among them is a⁤ clip from israel’s Foreign Ministry titled “There is Food in Gaza,” which has attracted over six million views.

The‌ agreement also covers the engagement of⁣ American influencers and allocating‍ millions⁣ toward paid promotions via platforms such as X (formerly⁤ twitter) for $3 million,‌ and Outbrain/Tides for approximately $2.1 million.
