UN Expresses Concern Over Escalating Zionist Attacks on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Shehab news agency, Stéphane Dujarric, spokesperson for UN Secretary-General António Guterres, issued a statement expressing concern about the intensification of Israeli attacks on Gaza today.
In his statement,he emphasized that Israeli strikes in Gaza have escalated on Friday,resulting in greater harm to civilians.
Dujarric reported damage to refugee tents following an Israeli military attack on a high-rise building in Gaza during recent operations.
He also voiced concern over the Israeli military’s announcement of plans to target additional tall buildings in Gaza soon.
Israel claims it targets these structures as Hamas militants use them. Though, Palestinian sources and residents deny these allegations entirely.
This action appears to be part of Israel’s scorched-earth policy aimed at turning densely populated parts of Gaza into unlivable areas for its inhabitants.
