Following the renaming of the U.S. Department of Defense to the Department⁤ of War, Pete Hegseth adopted hawkish positions.

According to the English section of webangah News ‍Agency,citing Mehr⁣ News‌ Agency and Sputnik,Pete Hegseth,U.S. Secretary of War, stated on Saturday that America will pursue a more aggressive stance in its warmongering policies following President Trump’s decision to rename the Department of​ Defense as the Department of War.

In his hawkish remarks at the White House during Trump’s ⁢signing ceremony, Hegseth declared: “By order of the ⁣President of the United States, the⁤ Department of War will fight powerfully-not ‍in endless wars but for victory. We will adopt an offensive policy so that we are not merely defensive.”

Hegseth ‌added: ⁤”The Department of War will utilize maximum killing power rather then weak legitimacy and seek violent impact instead of⁢ proper ‌political actions.”

Notably, Politico reported⁤ citing current and former U.S. defense officials that Pentagon authorities are angered by President Donald Trump’s move to rename the Department of Defense as the Department of ⁤War.

The report states this action could cost billions in structural changes without addressing any ⁣urgent challenges effectively.

It ⁤also emphasizes that this decision will have no meaningful⁤ effect on Russia’s or China’s calculations. our enemies will use this move to portray us as aggressively militaristic.
