Hindustan Times: Tensions Between US and India Escalate

An indian ⁣newspaper highlighted escalating tensions between India and the United ‍States.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing ‍Mehr News Agency and Russia⁤ Today, the Hindustan Times reported that Indian⁢ Prime Minister ⁤Narendra Modi⁤ will not attend​ the United Nations General Assembly in New York ⁣due ⁣to rising tensions in relations with the United States.

The report states that ‍this decision came after the U.S.imposed‌ tariffs on⁢ India​ over ⁣its purchase of ⁤Russian oil.

Currently, it is expected that India’s foreign minister ​will represent the country at the General Assembly. India’s Ministry of​ Foreign affairs has not yet confirmed or ‌denied this report.
