Mario Reveals: Gaza City Occupation Claims Lives of 100 Zionist Soldiers

An Israeli newspaper admits that the Gaza occupation will take at least one year, cost‍ the lives of‌ 100 Israeli soldiers, and offers no guarantee of defeating Hamas.

The ⁤English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr‍ News Agency and Al-Ahed news site, reported that Alon Ben David, a⁤ military ⁤correspondent for ‌the Israeli newspaper Maariv, revealed that Israeli military‌ estimates‍ indicate a full occupation of Gaza-both above ground and underground-could last at least‌ one year⁤ and ⁤result in the deaths of 100 Israeli soldiers.

He explained that this assessment presented to members of the Israeli cabinet is not an⁤ exact calculation but rather an initial‌ probable estimate to clarify how complex the decision-making⁢ process is. There is no assurance that this ⁣prolonged and intense operation will end with hamas’s elimination.

Simultaneously occurring, amit Halevi, member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security‍ Committee, acknowledged that Hamas still maintains full control over Gaza.

He also ⁤emphasized that Hamas currently stands at peak military ⁢capability in terms of explosive material volume and number⁢ of combatants.

These statements come⁢ after repeated claims from Israeli officials over recent months about severely weakening Palestinian resistance. However, Halevi’s admission reveals the Israeli army’s inability to meet its declared objectives in its war against Gaza despite nearly two years into the conflict-and highlights the high level of resistance capacity remaining.
