Major Terrorist Operation Against Iraq Thwarted
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Malouma, Iraqi Parliament member Ali Al-Bandawi confirmed that the Wadi Houran operation was carried out by the Popular Mobilization Forces and Iraqi security forces to clear the region of terrorist elements.
He added that this operation prevented a large-scale terrorist attack planned by criminal groups against several areas in western Iraq’s provinces.
Al-Bandawi expressed concern over suspicious U.S. movements at Al-Hol camp, stating that these activities raise many questions about their purpose and timing.
He also highlighted that Syria continues to suffer from security chaos and instability caused by terrorist groups, which poses a threat to Iraq’s national security.
