Hamas Issues Statement on Israeli Enemy’s Dangerous Actions in Prisons
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas stated that the introduction of new weapons by the criminal Zionist regime into prisons is a dangerous and systematic measure aimed at intensifying pressure on defenseless prisoners, who face severe violations of their human rights within these facilities. This move reflects a fascist and vengeful policy targeting the physical elimination of prisoners and inflicting maximum physical and psychological harm upon them.
Hamas emphasized that using tools such as electric shock devices, plastic bullets, and turning prisoners into ”testing grounds” constitutes an outright crime that exposes the aggressive and repressive nature of the occupying regime.
The movement warned this criminal decision endangers prisoners’ lives, exposing them to direct or gradual killing. It represents a blatant violation of all international laws and human rights treaties.
Hamas held the criminal Zionist regime fully responsible for preserving the lives and health of detainees. It called on international human rights organizations to urgently intervene in holding the regime accountable and halting its ongoing crimes against palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
