Sudan Army Launches Heavy Bombardment on General Hamidti’s Forces
News sources report that Sudanese army fighter jets have bombed the positions of the rapid Support Forces led by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemeti.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing reports from Al Jazeera via Mehr news Agency, Sudan’s army has launched airstrikes against rapid Support forces (RSF) positions.
A military source told Al Jazeera that Sudanese army jets targeted RSF locations in Umm Semeimah, Kazqil, and the town of Bara in North Kordofan state.
The source did not provide further details.
The conflict between sudan’s army, commanded by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the RSF under Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo-widely known as Hemeti-has lasted over two years. It has plunged the country into a severe crisis causing millions to be displaced.
